Hello,

My name is Rae 

I started PaintedDragonfly with the help and support of my family. 

Art has always been a part of my life. when I younger my parents didn't always like some of the ways I expressed myself, like drawing on the walls, my jeans, shoes ect. But they always allowed me to be myself and that in turn nurtured the artist in me. 

Everything i see, every word i hear sends images and colors rushing through my mind. The canvas, glass, or piece of wood  that i am working on

begins to come to life. Guiding my paintbrush showing me what it wants to become. 

To me art is freedom there are no boundaries,  wrong or right, good or bad.

   Art is about emotion be it good or bad, i would rather my work be hated than forgotten.

Every piece that is in my collection I has been has been chosen for the potential that i see in it.

I traveling all over and spend many hours to find the diamonds in the rough.

I am very passionate about my work and I hope it shows.
